He was drafted in the 20th round out of High School by the California Angels, but signed with the University of Alabama. He played in three seasons, 2 College World Series, 1997 National Championship runner-up, three SEC Championships and was then drafted in the 9th round of the 1997 draft by the Cleveland Indians. He was a New York/Penn League All-Star, Eastern League Batting Champion in 2001 with New Britain (AA). AA All-Star starter for American League. His Major League debut was on August 29, 2001. He played 7 seasons in the MLB including 2 post seasons. Duston played for the Minnesota Twins, San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, Boston Redsox and Tampa Rays.

A former New Haven High School graduate, Bischoff was an All NHC, All Area pitcher for 3 separate years with 2 All State selections. Matt holds the all-time strikeout (453) and wins (35) record at New Haven, while assisting in winning 2 Sectional championships. From 2007-2010, Bischoff would attend Purdue University, setting the all-time strikeout record (291) and finishing 2nd all-time in innings pitched (323.1) and wins (23), graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Technology.
The first and only player in Purdue history to be awarded All-Big Ten honors 4 times; he was drafted twice, by the New York Mets (2008) and Seattle Mariners (2010). Matt competed for 5 years (2 years with Seattle, 3 with Baltimore), reaching the Triple A level and also pitching in Liga Mexicana in Mexico during the winter of 2013. Outside his work in marketing, he now spends his free time instructing youth and High School baseball development, teaching the necessary skills gathered during his playing career.

John’s mission is to maximize the development of catchers among all components of the game
along with developing young hitters while providing an enjoyable yet hard working/learning environment. John was a former player of Matt Brumbaugh at Northrop High School. While attending Northrop, John was a 1st team all conference catcher as well as a team captain during his senior year. He was recognized as one of the top ranked catchers by PBR Indiana in 2014 and 2015.
After Northrop, John went on to play college baseball at Vincennes University (JUCO) in
Vincennes, Indiana. At Vincennes he would be the starting catcher for both his freshman and
sophomore campaigns and also receive an Associate’s Degree in Health Science. After his two years at Vincennes, John received a scholarship to play at Indiana University Kokomo (NAIA) where he would help build a first year program and a foundation for future players to come. At IUK John contributed to the team’s success as a first year program by attaining two 30+ win seasons and reaching the conference tournament championship. John would graduate with an IU Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Following his college career, he would continue his baseball career at the professional level in
the American Association of Professional Baseball with the Milwaukee Milkmen in 2019. As of 2021 he has played in the Frontier League with the Lake Erie Crushers, Utica Unicorns of the USPBL and in the PECOS League with the Roswell Invaders. John is looking forward to helping youth athletes develop their skills and share his knowledge that he has acquired over his career
to help assist youth athletes both on and off the field.
